The small details were a pleasure.

The majority of this jewelry box has been crafted out of Mango hardwood and a varied, specialty grain plank for the front cross rail and small drawer fronts. The sides and top have been inlayed with 1/4'' Walnut strips, intersecting one another at random angles for a clean modern appearance.

 

Top portion of the box has been precisely cut to create a lid, hinged on two beautifully machined brass hinges and magnets. A small Walnut photo frame and photo of choosing placed at the underside of lid for a soothing reveal, upon opening. A concave groove is milled into the edge of the lid and box reveal.

The two small drawer boxes and their bottom panels, along with interior of the lid are outfitted with handmade organizers and wooden inserts, also upholstered in shop. A friction fit for the wooden glides. Solid brass dowels were milled out for the hardware.
